Palm cleaning
A palm clean takes off dead and dying fronds, old frond bases and seed stalks. On Bangalow palms the bright red seeds stain paving and sprout everywhere, so removing the stalks early saves a lot of weeding.
Palm removal
Cocos palms (Queen palms) are treated as an environmental weed by many NSW councils, and their removal is often exempt from approval. Even so, check before you cut, because rules vary by council. We remove palms in sections when there's anything nearby to protect and grind the stump so you can replant.
Big palms
Canary Island date palms and large Washingtonias carry sharp spines and very heavy crowns. They need proper rigging and the right gear, and that's the work we're set up for.
